Verb recently partnered with Marketing360 owned by Madwire, a leading marketing technology provider, to support the growth of small businesses and accelerate the adoption of our content management and Livestream selling tools. In this guest blog, our partner Marketing360 will cover the evolution of their marketing platform and the challenges their technology solves for small business owners.
The year was 2009. Netflix was still delivering DVDs by mail, Facebook had just launched it's famous “like” button and we were all singing along to “I Gotta Feeling” by the Black Eyed Peas. It was also the year that Madwire® was born. Founded by father and son, Joe and JB Kellogg, Madwire was created with a single mission in mind — to make a difference by helping small businesses grow and their local communities glow.
For the first couple of years, Madwire offered website design and marketing services, giving small business owners much-needed access to small business websites that were both affordable and professional. We also worked hard to understand the challenges that came with managing and growing a small business, and the needs of small business owners.
One of the biggest challenges small business owners were facing back then (and still, today) was finding time to market their business while also managing their business — without having to spend an arm and a leg on an in-house marketing team. Thus, Marketing 360® was created.
In 2014, the first version of Marketing 360 was launched. Although it would go through a lot of changes in the years to come, the vision of the Marketing 360 platform was clear from day one — to give small business owners all of the tools they needed to manage and grow their business from a singular platform. The first version of Marketing 360 offered small business marketing and reporting tools, and when the second version was released in 2016, it included a fully customizable CRM, as well as many other small business management tools. In 2018, Madwire acquired Silveredge, giving us the ability to provide payment processing solutions to the small businesses we serve. And in 2019, Madwire acquired Spacecraft, allowing us to offer our clients a website builder that’s so user-friendly and easy to use anyone, can build a beautiful, professional small business website, even if they don’t know a single line of code.
In the latest version of Marketing 360, which launched in 2020, small business owners were given access to a comprehensive marketing and management toolbox with everything they needed, from a social media scheduling tool and reputation management software to a scalable CRM, robust payment features, email marketing software and so much more.
Today, Marketing 360 is a one-of-kind marketing platform, backed by a team of marketing success managers, designers, content writers, ad specialists, video pros, photographers, and other marketing experts dedicated to small business success. Throughout the years, a key part of accomplishing our mission has always been the partners we’ve worked with along the way, and we’re looking forward to continuing to chase down our mission of helping small businesses grow and their local communities grow with the help of our friends at Verb.
